In April 2020, the Fighting Irish Scholars program gained the largest cohort of Fighting Irish Scholars to be selected (a total of 45 new Fighting Irish Scholars) after submitting applications and making it through a round of virtual Zoom interviews. Incoming scholars were asked to submit autobiographies, answer questions about why they should be selected, and what value they saw in the Fighting Irish Scholarship program. The Office of Student Enrichment is proud to have such a talented and diverse group of students that can help advocate resources for first-generation and limited-income students on Notre Dame's campus. For the 2020-2021 school year, there are a total of 104 Fighting Irish Scholars.
