Biography
Rev. Matthew Kuczora, C.S.C., is the Director of the Office of Student Enrichment and is a Holy Cross priest. Ordained in 2012, Father Matt ministered for three years in Mexico at an urban parish, home to 30,000 parishioners. He returned to campus and served as Rector of Carroll Hall and the inaugural Rector of Dunne Hall. Father Matt then attended law school focusing on Catholic higher education and immigration. Prior to his role in the OSE, he worked as University Counsel in the Office of General Counsel and clerked for the Honorable Carlos G. Muñiz, Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court.
Father Matt is a native of Marion, Indiana and graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Notre Dame in 2005. He also earned two post-graduate degrees from Notre Dame: a Juris Doctor cum laude in 2023 and a Master of Divinity in 2011. Father Matt is a member of the Indiana State Bar, serves on the board of the Finca del Niño Catholic children's home in Trujillo, Honduras, and lives in Knott Hall as the community's priest-in-residence.
