Students, please join us for a conversation about ways to engage in immigration advocacy and policy on campus, in the local community, and at the state and national level.

  • Mike Hebbeler, Notre Dame Center for Social Concerns' Director of Discernment and Advocacy Education. Mike teaches hands-on advocacy courses in which students will develop a shared understanding of advocacy and the common good and cultivate skills to help strengthen advocacy planning and action in pursuit of social justice. 
  • Isaias Guerrero, Notre Dame '16 M.A. International Peace and Policy,  Immigration Organizer for the South at Center for Community Change 
  • Juan Rangel, Notre Dame '15 B.A. Political Science, Senior Associate for D&P Creative Strategies, LLC. Juan founded SCIA during his undergraduate years on campus. He has also worked at the National Immigration Law Center and handled the immigration portfolio for Congresswoman Linda Sanchez.
